The incredible work that our spiritual family does here at London International Church of Christ, both in our fundamental mission of bringing people closer to God and in pioneering local community causes, is only possible thanks to the generous contributions of our supporters all across the globe.
Since the 1980s our church has been reaching out to people of all cultures and backgrounds in London and the whole of England. Throughout our existence, our family has spread the message of Jesus as far and wide as possible across the capital and far beyond, helping those most in need to find meaning and belonging through the Church.
Over the years we have contributed and pioneered a number of fantastic causes whilst continuing to encourage as many people as possible to join, engage, and pray with us.
In the 1990s, we provided food and clothing to those living on the streets of London, before setting up the ‘Two-Step’ programme to find emergency shelter and then long-term housing for the homeless. We also pioneered the One Day at a Time (ODAAT) scheme to help people free themselves from drug and alcohol addiction. In 1995 these programmes become were incorporated into the charity HOPE worldwide, who we continue to support and promote to this day.
More recently, we have brought on a number of young people as leaders in the church through the ‘One Year Challenge’ programme, something we are incredibly passionate about as we look to secure the future of the church for generations to come.
Whilst we, like everyone else, have fallen short at times over the decades, we have always endeavoured to spread the news of God’s power and goodness throughout, with prayer and spirituality the foundations of our work at all times.
In the years to come, we aim to continue growing both in number and in outreach, bringing the word of God to as many people as possible and channelling it to make real and life-changing differences to those who need it the most.
We pledge to continue investing in our local communities, both here in London and through our sister churches across the world and would be delighted if you would join us on this journey.
We simply can’t do it alone, nor do we want to try. We want as many people as possible to get involved, enhancing their own lives by getting closer to God, and the lives of others in their community through Him.
