Kids Kingdom
Kid Kingdom is our affectionate name for the Children’s ministry provided across our entire fellowship of churches in London.
No matter which church service you attend, your children will have access to a range of fun, engaging, and age-appropriate games and activities that introduce Jesus in an unforgettable way and help them grow their knowledge of God and the Bible.
Parents have a responsibility to teach their kids about God (Deuteronomy 6:4-9), but we are a family and a community, and believe that it takes a community to raise a child. Church shouldn’t be a place for quiet reflection at this age, it should be a place for cake, excitement, and ensure your little ones can’t wait for Sunday to come around.
Happy memories at this stage will build positive associations with church that your children will take forward into teen, student, and singles ministry in the years to come.
Children’s Classes
Our Kids Kingdom Sunday classes begin once communion has been taken, allowing our volunteers to remain centered on Christ themselves, before providing a range of age appropriate activities for your children to enjoy.
We teach the Word of the Bible through fun stories, song, games, crafts, and more, introducing Christ to young minds in a fun-filled and enjoyable environment.
We find that too many Sunday school groups lump everyone from 5-12 in the same group with activities that are too advanced for some and mind-numbingly simple for others. You wouldn’t want your child’s school to do this, it would stunt their growth, so why should their Sunday school?
Once children reach the age of 10 they will graduate into a preteen class where they will engage in more age appropriate learning and begin to build a more intimate relationship with Christ. This class will help your children foster a growth mindset and support them as they transition into high school and tackle all the challenges that the experience brings.
More than just Sunday School
Kids Kingdom London meet every Sunday morning during our weekly Church gatherings but also host a load of fun activities outside the standard Sunday School schedule.
Every month our boy and girl clubs meet for fun activities such as baking, orienteering, movie night, wild camping, team building and more!
We also meet with other International Church or Christ children’s groups across the UK with faith based camps hosted but our wonderful team of preteen workers, many of whom work as teachers on a daily basis.
Parenting class
Raising your children to get to know Jesus Christ isn’t an easy task, but we are here to help. Alongside our kids kingdom events, we also host parenting classes, giving you all the information and techniques you need to engage your children when teaching them about Jesus. These classes are also an opportunity for you to get to know other godly parents in your local area, build relationships and work together to raise your Children in the way that Christ wants.
Safeguarding
All Kids Kingdom workers are fully DBS checked and must undergo an extensive safeguarding screening process before working with Children. We have a safeguarding officer in place who will answer any questions you might have about this process and is available if you have any concerns at all, at any time.
