1 & 2 Kings Study Series
As usual we are focussing our Autumn teaching on a book, or books in this case, of the Bible. The amazing faith-resources that are the books of 1 & 2 Kings will be dug into and expounded in sermons, lessons, devotionals and all other possible occasions.
As a personal support the East teaching ministry have provided the attached Quiet Time series. Many thanks to them for the significant labour of love that this represents. If you have any questions please email them on EastTeachingMinistry@gmail.com.
1&2 Kings Quiet Times
"Later this year the elders and evangelists propose to appoint deacons in the London church. Attached is a paper by Malcolm Cox, for the elders and evangelists, which we ask you to read. An announcement in the regions of the London church will follow shortly."

Teaching Day on 2 Corinthians
Once a year the whole church takes a Saturday morning to devote ourselves to the study of one particular book of the Bible. The last three years have seen us tackle Hosea, Hebrews and Deuteronomy. This year 2 Corinthians is our focus.
The details are on the picture to the left, and more information can be found in this handout. If you have any questions please email Malcolm on email@example.com.
The handout for the day can be found here, and a PDF of the PowerPoint presentation is here.
The Bible talks a lot about faith. Faith 'travels' (Col 1.4), motivates gospel work (1 Thess 1.3), and grows (2 Thess 1.3). But it does not do these things without support from God and people. The Bible gives us examples to follow, “We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,” (1 Thessalonians 3:2 NIV11-GK), and teaches us to find strength in God (1 Peter 5.10).
The London International church of Christ takes nurturing faith very seriously. Our weeknight meetings are geared specifically to this. The teaching blends exposition of Bible passages with practical life application and personal spiritual development. Annual teaching days focus on a Bible book (the last three years have covered Hosea, Hebrews and Deuteronomy). We also provide training to members so they can pass on to others what they have learned (2 Timothy 2.2).
If you would like to find out what is being taught near you, please email us via the 'Contact us' button above.
